Requiem For a Dream

i started watching this film the other week and didnt get to watch it all, the bits i watched were very good, not really sure what the plot of the story is but the filming is very unique.

There were parts in the film, when the people were taking drugs they kept flicking through selected screen shots and during the shouts they would play sound to go with the pictures but they would almost exadurate them so the were very clear and it really gave you a clear idea of drug taking and how harmful and tripy it is. I just thought it made the film look different and really good. once iv watched the rest of the film i can comment on some more parts.

Cashback film

This film is about a fine artist who can stop time with his mind and almost see people in their comfort, he can picture them naked basicly. he is a very talented artist how is very intreged by the human for especially the female gender.

what i liked about the film is the way it was filmed, the first clip is of the boys ex-girlfriend screaming and shouting at him but she is on mute so you cant hear here, what you can hear is his voice/ well his mind thinking and ontop of that clasical music. i just thaught the contrast of the scene created a very interesting sence of the person, it just really struck me as a very interesting way to film the piece using the opposites.
there are also other parts of the film were one minute he is in a coridor with walls around him and the camera swings round (this is all in one shot) and the boy almost looks like he is falling into bed and he is in his room, again another very clever piece of filming. there are lots throughout the film and its is very interesting.
