Pixilation animation

iv been looking at a few different ways to approach this, to create a short video/clip in the most effective way, perhaps using an actual person, Lego or play-doh.
the problem with using a person is that it is very time consuming and you have to be patient so the person must be available for a long period of tim
e and perhaps not lose interest quickly, otherwise the clip will come out poorly.

one of my favourite music videos is 'her morning elegance' by Oren Lavie, I'm not sure what exactly it is about it but i remember the first time i saw it i really liked it, because for a music video it is a bit different. i just really liked how it was all done on a flat base, the way they walk just everything about the video as a hole. the part i like the most is the jumpiness that the stop motion affect gives to the video, just gives it a bit of an edge a sort of quirkiness.

i would really like to do something like this as i think it would look the most effective as a finished product.

i have also been looking at the Lego pixilation and i think they make the movement look rather interesting again a lot of effort is needed but the final outcome would be worth it, looking at all the covers of games ant thing people have done with the Lego show me that there is a wide rang of pathways, there isn't that much you cant do with Lego in terms of making objects and i quite like the jagged effect the blocks gives to make a curve.

the other part i was looking at was using play-doh/plasticine and creating a character, and using him to make the video doing anything you want him to really. creating a small story if you like.
i first started thinking about the orange play-doh men which were on an art channel like Smart or Art Attack. i couldn't find anything on them though, so i started looking as more famous things like 'Wallace and gromit'. the idea of using this material is that it is easily moulded into any shape, thick, thin, long, short and it is generally quite sturdy so that certain movements become easier to obtain rather than having to hold the object and editing your hand out or the piece of string holding your object up.
